Originally certified in 1987, I completed my PADI Divemaster training in hopes of sharing the wonders of the ocean with new divers. Years of diving the San Diego region have given me the experience and skills necessary to provide an enjoyable, safe and professional dive adventure.

Where should I learn to dive? San Diego offers a large selection of training options which can cater to your demands and budget. A great place to start is the PADI Discover Diving class offered by many of the local scuba shops. This inexpensive (sometimes free) class/pool session usually lasts 1-2 hours and provides a controlled and safe environment to experience scuba for the first time.
Where are the best places to dive in San Diego? A favorite site of local divers is La Jolla Shores. It's combination of soft sandy shores and off-shore canyon walls create a well balanced sense of structure and interesting marine life. Other favorites include Point Loma and Wreck Alley. North County provides a few sites I enjoy lobstering when conditions permit, including Table Tops and the San Elijo reefs in Solana Beach and The Pipe in Carlsbad.
